The more you accept NOW – the more you can free yourself from pain.

Suffering is a mental state of “being” that arises due to our conscious-minds tendency to fight our true nature, which derives serenity from feeling at Peace and Interconnected with the world around us, here and now, for no particular special reason. “/ Dog Buddha

The Teachings of Dog Buddha

Dog Buddha has taught us that “EMOTIONS brings with them both positives, and negatives. So whenever we searched beyond ourselves for what will make us feel emotional good, we will get with it, the other negative side of the coin. Because of this, to avoid feelings of “pain”, such as guilt, irritation, anger, we should strive towards more rewarding states of mind, which comes when we let go of what was, and what is to come, and focus inwards on the NOW-INGNESS.

This powerful knowledge is the secret to why Cold Fusion Scientists can feel at peace with themselves, even while facing, or going through really “crappy” situations.

(Their state of mind does not 100% rely on external circumstances)

“Our “conscious thinking mind” lives always in the past, or in the future,

bringing with it negative feelings of guilt, anger, stress, impatience, irritation.”

JUST BE, HERE AND NOW!

“The power of NOW-INGNESS is something much deeper rooted in ourselves than emotions.  Most greater good actually comes out of “the state of being now” – which is the state of non-thinking.

Its the serenity and connectivity we feel with the world around us, for no particular reason, when we Let Go of our conscious thinking(mind) and emotional stress.”

One Response to “The Teachings of Dog Buddha”

  1. The past is past…

    All is healed…

The future is yet to be revealed!!

Time travel, in the context presented here, is limitless and fun (properly utilized) foregoing unnecessary pain, suffering, or emotional distress.

Just thinking about this subject can make me uncomfortably confused (easy as I’m a blond).

Back to basics… unnecessary has one of the simplest definitions in the dictionary…

    1) not necessary or essential; needless; unessential.

I love my thinking mind (immature as the human mind is) and would rather not throw this baby out with the bathwater.

Thanks for the good advice that you have given here…

    as I understand it…
give your thinking mind a break…
learn how to utilize it properly…
    empty your mind completely….

It’s time to grock the true spirit of the heart mind body potential…

    End unnecessary pain and suffering.

    Feel it…

    Think it…

    Make it so…
